Job Description
|
Minimum seven (7) years experience in the special event industry, or similar experience with stage electric, lighting, audio, video, stage design, event production, and entertainment. Advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of design and prop production, spatial limitations, scale, and proportion. Knowledge of materials, production techniques, finishes, color, and design styles. Experience in sales and pricing events within budgets. Must have exceptional communication and customer relations skills. Ability to manage multiple event productions under tight deadlines and to interact with various hotel departments. Ability to determine staffing needs, schedules and prioritize workflow for a large staff. Experience interviewing, managing, and training employees, problem solving and decision making. Proficient with Microsoft applications, working knowledge of Daylight and Meeting Matrix or similar software

Event Production Manager

Job Description
|
Minimum five (5) years experience as a Production or Stage Manager, and/or related entertainment and audio visual experience, to technically produce events, shows, meetings, or scale multi-media presentations. Must be detail-oriented and have experience in stage lighting, sound, rigging, video and scenic set up. Must have exceptional communication and customer relations skills, and strong negotiating skills to handle clients, employees, and interdepartmental relationships. Excellent writing skills to prepare proposals, worksheets, and detailed cost sheets for events. Ability to manage multiple event productions under tight deadlines, determine staffing needs, schedules and prioritize workflow for a large staff, order equipment and gear, organize the logistics of an event, and perform site inspections. Experience interviewing, managing, and training employees, problem solving and decision making. Proficient with Microsoft applications, working knowledge of Daylight and Meeting Matrix or similar software.
